Enjoy the spectacular scenery of rolling green hills and lush valleys, snow-capped volcanoes and deep blue lakes, colourful markets and smiling people. Visit Antigua, Lake Atitlan and Chichicastenango.
Day 1 – Thursday
Guatemala City – Chichicastenango

In the morning, leave for Chichicastenango, passing through some of Guatemala’s most picturesque scenery. On arrival visit the colorful open-air market and Church of Santo Tomas. The afternoon is at leisure for bartering at the market or to wander around this curious town.


Day 2 – Friday
Chichicastenango – Lake Atitlan

After breakfast, depart for Solola, where you will visit the Indian produce market. In the afternoon, continue to Lake Atitlan, a strikingly beautiful deep blue lake. Overnight at your lakeside hotel. B


Day 3 – Saturday
Lake Atitlan – Antigua

This morning, enjoy an excursion by launch to the lake-side village of Santiago Atitilan. Continue to colonial Antigua for overnight. B


Day 4 – Sunday
Antigua – Guatemala City

Visit the most interesting sites of Antigua this morning: churches, convents, monasteries and other colonial buildings. There are also some great opportunities to buy jade and other gems. After lunch, return to Guatemala City. B
