Discover this unique part of the rainforest by living a meaningful experience with nature and the people of El Castillo at San Juan River.

Day 1
Managua – San Carlos – El Castillo

Late morning transfer to the International Airport in order to take local domestic flight from Managua to San Carlos.  Upon arrival into San Carlos, local guide & transportation will be waiting for you for a transfer to El Castillo town. The ecological adventure starts by traveling through an area once known as the Gold Route. During the boat trip you will be able to observe a vast variety of monkeys and an enormous diversity of migrating birds, such as eagles, falcons, blue jays, herons, etc. You will arrive at El Castillo for lunch. Have some time free on your own before you meet your guide again for the night tour to see Caymans – Dinner at a local restaurant. L D

Day 2
El Castillo

Early Morning tour to Indio Maiz reserve – Bartola Trail. Return to El Castillo for lunch. This afternoon, visit the Fortress and the town. Rest of  afternoon at leisure.  Dinner is included. B L D

Day 3
El Castillo – San Carlos – Managua

Breakfast. Few hours on your own to enjoy the little town. Take he boat transfer to San Carlos Port in order to take La a flight back to Managua City. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in Managua City.
